In her role as Breakthrough to Nursing Chair, she will provide leadership to MASNA through her insights in the lived realities of minority students. Her goal this year is for MASNA to partner with a diversity sponsor. By partnering with a professional nursing organization that represents diverse nurses, the MASNA board can learn effective strategies to better meet the needs of student nurses from diverse backgrounds. By demonstrating a sustained commitment to reach out and support minority student nurses, MASNA can become even more effective as an advocate for all student nurses in Massachusetts.
