Katelyn O’Rourke is a junior nursing student with a minor in Spanish at Worcester State University. Originally from Milford, MA, she first became interested in nursing after years of Volunteering at Milford Regional Medical Center and Dana Farber Cancer Center. She is a member of her school’s chapter of SNA and a peer mentor to help incoming freshman nursing students. As a Regional Chair, she looks forward to increasing awareness to the nursing students at surrounding universities and to promote the importance of becoming an active member in the student nursing population in Massachusetts.
